  Hi, my name is Martin Taplin, President of Rimant Construction, a Sacramento based general contractor focusing on residential construction servicing Sacramento, Placer and El Dorado Counties. Through this blog, I will be discussing my thoughts on a range of topics such as outdoor design ideas, which room remodel may increase your home value the most and new products. This week, I will give you a background about me, how I got into construction, my experience and the vision for the future of my company. Born and raised near London, UK, I attended and gained a BA in Business Economics from Oxford Brookes University. Shortly afterwards I left to go traveling around the world (a passion of mine) including Dubai and Australia before settling on the South Island of New Zealand.
